The legend behind the brand tells the story of a meteorite falling into the desert of Oaxaca in Mexico, creating a crater then used by the local Maestro Mezcalero to cook the Agave Espadin and create an exceptional mezcal; hence the name Meteoro, meaning «fallen from the sky».
